There are several ways to experience things at Wyldwoods.

Those with experience of mental health issues and other disadvantaged people can access Wyldwoods through referral by their community mental health team, GP or Social Services. They can also access us themselves, using the Direct Payments or Personal Budget Scheme.

Pair of good work glovesGroups and individuals from the wider community can access Wyldwoods through organised workshops, demonstrations, talks and other activities that we provide from time to time. These are sometimes part-funded through grants from charitable organisations. Please contact us if you have any ideas for activites for your group.

We have comprehensive policies and procedures (all available on request) and dedicated insurances for all of our activities.

If in doubt contact us, we are here to help.

If you have learners who would benefit from informal outdoor education, we can offer a range of meaningful, practical experiences that release potential and provide stimulation for learning.

Schoolteachers can link in with our provision for half/full day sessions throughout the academic school year (prices available on request). We also provide small group sessions for young people at risk of exclusion from education for whatever reason (prices available on request).

We are able to offer a varied range of outdoor practical arts and rural craft activities. We can provide both accredited (Open College Network [OCN]) and in-house certificates as well as the John Muir Award. We tailor our delivery to the needs of individuals involved.

Staff development
Wyldwoods can provide you and your colleagues with full or half day tailored creative workshops packages, informal team building in a unique setting. We are happy to fit in with your requirements.

Childrens' parties - small family functions
We receive a great many requests from those who visit us to hold childrens' parties and small family functions on the site. We are very happy to do this as long as we can accommodate the event within the main activities of the charity.
We can arrange catering on a small scale and provide staff for party leadership etc when required. Please contact us for full details.

Art exhibitions - NEW FOR 2012
Wyldwoods plans to hold regular exhibitions of work produced by individuals and groups whilst participating here. We also want to encourage local artists and groups to exhibit their work as well. For a reasonable charge, exclusive exhibitions can be arranged on a two-week basis. We will also help with private view events. Please contact us for further information.
